What is the AP Scholars Program?
• The AP Scholars program is foremost a series of courses, beginning with mainly GT classes, carrying through the senior year with AP courses
• This rigorous program has received rave reviews from students who have reported great success in college because of their participation in the Glenelg High School program
• Other purposes include providing a community of like-minded thinkers; offering support, information, and collegiality; and recognizing and rewarding students for performing at the higher ranges of their academic potential

• To prepare students for competitive college admissions process

"Application to the AP Scholars Program is continuous. Complete all of the following forms and return to Mr. Kemp at Glenelg High School. Decisions are made three times per year--fall, mid-year, and spring. A letter will be sent upon acceptance or non-acceptance."
