Carpe Diem, Latini Duo Discipuli!

Latin II students follow the Cornelius family on their journey from Baiae to Rome. After spending the night an an inn on the Appian Way, the family reaches the Capena gate in the wall surrounding Rome where Cornelius' brother Titus awaits them. The family tutor Eucleides and Uncle Titus show Marcus, Sextus, and Cornelia the sights in Rome, including the Colsseum under construction and the Circus Maxiumus. As we read about these events, we will learn the perfect tense, the future tense, and the dative tense. We will also learn many different types of pronouns and many other Latin words.
