Images
The images page is where you'll find the list of websites providing free images that you can use in your projects, and most of them have no known copyright restrictions, which means you don't have to obtain permission to use them. BUT: You'll still want to note where you found your images and cite them accordingly. The New York Public Library has a free, searchable database of over 640,000 photographs, manuscripts, historical maps, vintage posters, rare prints, and more from its collection.
- Sailor
Provides access to all public libraries in Maryland, including numerous databases (some require a library card to access). Also includes links to information about Maryland and the Maryland Government website.
- University of Maryland Libraries
Use the catalog before a trip to their libraries. All materials and databases are accessible to the public in the library. Remote access is only available for students, faculty and staff of the University.
