Parent Lunch Monitor – No Experience Necessary! Sign up for 1 or both hours of the OMHS Lunch Period. Duties include checking hall passes and helping teachers maintain an orderly and relaxing atmosphere during the lunch break. A light commitment of 1 day every 2 weeks is required to participate but a larger commitment is welcome. Flexible options are available.

School Store Attendant - Every Thursday during lunchtime (10:14am – 12:20pm). Work with a Life Skills student to attend the PBIS School Store Cart. Requires weekly commitment from 1 person or every other Thursday commitment from 2 people. Set up in the hallway outside the Cafeteria and cleanup afterwards. This PBIS program allows kids to get Spirit Wear, school supplies and other items by trading their earned Scorpion’s tokens. It's getting something good for being good! No experience needed - training will be provided.

Mrs. Urszuy’s Science Classes – One helper each day, during 1st (7:25 - 8:19am) and 2nd period classes (8:24 - 9:14am) sign up for 1 or both. Mrs. Urszuy requests a light commitment of 1 class every 2 weeks minimum to participate. Flexible options are available.

We ask that all volunteers please take your volunteer time seriously: be there on time that you choose, stay for the duration and give 24 hours notice to the teacher via email if you will not be able to make the assigned time.
