Senior Exam and Rehearsal Schedule

Download the calendar for your last week here. All of your exams and rehearsals are listed. Attendance at all rehearsals is mandatory. The Awards Assembly is our dress rehearsal and all students must be present.

Graduation Date - May 29, 2012

Oakland Mill's graduation date has been set for Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Noon (12:00pm). The ceremony will take place at Merriweather Post Pavilion. School will close at 10:45am that day.

Stay tuned for information on tickets, parking, etc.

If you ordered graduation announcements they will be delivered to the school (date TBA) and distributed during lunch.

Caps & Gowns

Caps and gowns are delivered to the school and distributed during our first graduation rehearsal on 5/22/12.

*URGENT* If you still have not ordered a cap and gown, visit www.expressgowns.com soon to place your order. Gowns older than 1 year old may not be used as they are no longer of a matching material.

Prom tickets with be on sale from Monday, April 23rd through Monday, May 7th for only $60. All guests must be approved. Approval forms are available in the Front Office and must be submitted by April 27th. Guest tickets cannot be purchased unless the guest has been approved.

Students with obligations will not be able to purchase prom tickets. The obligation list can be found on Ms. Brown's door. Special note to Seniors.....you will not be able to buy Class Night tickets or receive graduation tickets until all obligations are taken care of.

Senior Class Night Tickets will be on sale during all lunch shifts through Wednesday, May 9th. Tickets are $50. You must have a signed permission slip to buy a ticket. See Mrs. Tourtlotte or Ms. Bowman for extra permission slips.

The Counseling Center is offering an opportunity to purchase potted flowers. These flowers will be used to decorate the stage for the Senior Awards Assembly. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the pots may be taken home.

There will be 30 pots of annuals available for purchase. These flowers may be transplanted to your yard or stay in the pot for your deck or porch.

If you are interested in purchasing flowers for yourself or as a gift, please complete the order form below and return it with proper payment to Mrs. Buffington or Mrs. Magruder in the Counseling Center, no later than May 17th.
