HATS, HEAD GEAR & ELECTRONICS POLICY
Hats, head gear, and electronic equipment--like cell phones and I-Pods—are NOT TO BE USED or VISIBLE during the school day from 7:25 am.-2:10 p.m. If students are seen wearing hats or using electronic equipment during the school day, my staff has been directed by me to confiscate the items and return them to the bookkeeper. Students will receive an administrative consequence for violating this policy, in addition to the parent conference that will be held before the item is returned to the parent.

Greetings,

I am very excited about being a member of the Glenelg staff. I have worked for the students and families of the Howard County Public School System for the past 17 years. During that time, I have taught at the elementary and middle school levels. I have spent the past five years as an assistant principal at the middle school level. I have also been an assistant principal for the Comprehensive Summer School at the High School level for the past three years.

My administrative duties include but are not limited to working with the Science and English departments, monitoring attendance, student/faculty parking, and being the school accountability coordinator.

I enjoy spending time with my family and am excited about having Glenelg as my home away from home. Please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself. I look forward to working with you as we continue our culture of excellence.

Go Gladiators!!!

This is my fourth year at Glenelg and I couldn't be more pleased to be here. I began my teaching career in Howard County where I taught Data Processing at the Howard Vocational Technical Center prior to working as an administrator. As an administrator I've worked at several high schools including the alternative school. Glenelg is by far the most enjoyable assignment that I've had during my career.

Several of this year's administrative responsibilities include: School Emergency Operations, School Safety, Commencement, and Student Activities. I am the administrative liason for Special Education, World Language, Career Research Development, Business Computer Management Systems, and Food and Consumer Science.

My husband Joe and I have three grown children - Larry, Mia, and Jason. I enjoy playing golf, riding jet skies, Ocean City, watching football, and I am an avid Ravens fan.

I look forward to another great year of working with students, staff, and parents at the best high school in Howard County.

I look forward to developing many positive relationships with both students and parents; and to having a super experience as a Glenelg Gladiator.

Greetings,
I am very excited to join the Glenelg staff and look forward to serving the Glenelg community. This is my tenth year as an high school assistant prinicpal in Howard County and my seventeenth year as a high school administrator overall.

My new adminstrative responsiblities include working directly with students whose last names begin with the letters A - G, scheduling, transportation, and many other duties as assigned.

My wife and I have two sons who are wonderful Howard Cournty students. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but through my sons I have learned to become a Ravens and Redskins fan. I have an open door policy so please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself. I am excited for the opportunity and look forward to serving the Glenelg community as fully as possible.
