Shout-Out to SGA students: Maya Dawit, Shiela Crisostomo, Alden Grobicki, Jahin Patwary for being the primary presenters during the most recent HCPSS Board of
Ed meeting representing
Shout-Out to LRHS ITLs and Administrators for completing in such a timely
fashion our own ‘very professional’ and ‘Very Professional
Day’ Student Engagement Agenda for 22 April 10. Since our experts are
within these walls, I believe that you will be very impressed with the learning
events scheduled.
Shout-Out to Glen Smith for organizing, facilitating and supervising the County
Math Team Meet competition this week. Our students did very well and our school
looked even better. Thanks for all of your efforts.
Shout-Out to Tonia Miser for her role in maintaining the stability and
equilibrium academically supporting two classes of reading while helping to facilitate
the transition of Janet Freeman through her recent retirement. Tonia also took
over the responsibilities of Janet’s course work and the care of her
students to ensure that the students did not miss the essential curriculum
continuing to maintain their success continuous improvement. We would again
like to welcome Mary Grace Benson who will be our long term substitute and who
has taken on a huge challenge to support our students until the end of the
year.
Shout-Out to the LRHS English Department for responding as a
veteran team to multiple challenges that required sensitive and caring efforts
to establish and maintain the most effective academic environment possible
under the circumstances. I am very fortunate to have you all as colleagues.
Shout-Out to Robin Flood for sponsoring, organizing, supervising
and facilitating the HCPSS Dance Festival Competition. This annual event
provides students an opportunity and the proper platform to perform in front of
an audience made up of adults and students from all parts of the county in a
very competitive manner.
