Curriculum - Based Research Modules
Introduction
Around seventy Research Modules have been created by teachers for
the purpose of creating a safe web- surfing experience. Each
Research Module culminates in an instructionally sound curriculum
- based activity designed to have the students demonstate an
understanding of the information through the development of a
technology - based product. The units range in length from several
days to several weeks. Many of the units were created by teachers
in the Loyola College Graduate Program since the summer of 1998.
Many units have also been created by Gifted and Talented Resource
Teachers in Howard County since the fall of 1998. It is my hope
to post many such units at this location as time progresses.
