Digital Electronics (DE)

Grades 10, 11, 12 --------------- 1 Credit

Prerequisites: Intro to Engineering Design or staff reommendation; Algebra II is the minimum math requirement

Digital Electronics is a course in applied logic that encompasses the application of electronic circuits and devices. Computer simulation software is used to design and test digital circuitry prior to the actual construction of circuits and devices.

Students use computer simulations to learn about the logic of electronics while they design, test, and actually construct circuit and devices. Students apply logic that encompasses the application of electeronic circuits and devices.
