The course also includes concerns about social and political consequences of technological change.

Principles of Engineering is a "Hands-On" course that helps the students understand the field of engineering and engineering technology. Students design, consturct, test, and evaluate various projects various technology sytems and manufacturing processes to learn how engineers and technicians apply math, science, and technology in an engineering problem-solving process
