Principal's Update
|
Dear Parents, May is here, which of course means that June (and the end of the year) is not far behind. As usual, there is so much going on up at the Hill. AP exams started today; this week is Teacher Appreciation Week; and our Spring Sports teams are practically playing every day to make up for rained out games. Thanks for your support of these events and RiverHill in general.
The following news is provided to help keep you informed:

Congratulations to Tomi Williams, who was elected as the Student Member of the Board for Howard County. Tomi represents not just River Hill, but all students in Howard County. Great job, Tomi!!!
Last Friday, I had the opportunity to attend the HCPSS Gifted and Talented Student Learning Conference at the Applied Physics Lab. Kudos to Elizabeth Haaser, Taylor Rhodes, Lindsay Stalnaker, Kassie Coulson, Mehwish Lughami, and Solomon Carnock who presented their research/mentorship experience to students from the entire county. Congratulations as well to all Independent Research and Mentorship students as they conclude a very intense year of work.unior Parking Presentation
