Where They Live:
They inhabit only the vicinity of Indonesia , for example, on
Komodo Island, for which they are named.
What They Eat:
They eat animals as large as small deer or bush pigs. They will
also eat small animals and have been known to eat their own species.
Why They Are Endangered:
These animals are over-hunted by people.
Fun Fact:
The Komodo Dragon is the
largest living lizard. Young Komodo Dragons climb trees.
